DN 700 pipeline in Egypt employs Amex Seal technology to repair damaged pipe
When a new development was being constructed in Egypt, Krah-Pipes were used to transport water and sewage. Across the 331 acres, approximately 5.5 km of DN 700 pipes were laid, with all the joints being sealed by electric fusion. During installation, some joints were damaged due to heavy vehicles crossing over the pipelines and the damage wasn't discovered until after the final checks and backfilling was complete.
To stop the leakage, Amex Seals were chose as a cost-effective, efficient means of repairing the damaged joints. This job was completed in 2019.
