Can I remove Amex seals after installation?

Yes, all our seals can be removed and re-used.

Can I retighten the Amex cuff after a few years?

Yes, retightening is possible at any time.

Does the Amex seal help against severe water invasions at joints or defects?

Yes, our seals can withstand an outside pressure of up to 8 bar.

I have a special medium in my pipeline, can I still use Amex?

Yes, after conducting a detailed analyses of your medium, we are able to adapt our components to your requirements.

 

Can the Amex seal be installed under water?

Yes, we cooperate with experienced divers, who are able to install Amex seals under water.

What is the maximum wall thickness for liner with polyethylene coating?

The wall thickness of the liner is about 2,2 - 2,8 mm.

What coating do you normally use?

We use PE, PU, or PES coatings.

​

Do you also have heat resistent silicon coatings?

No, we do not produce liners with a silicone-coating.

Is your polyurethane coating polyether or polyester based?

Our polyurethane coating is ether based.

How long is the shelf life of your adhesive?

Once the two components of the polyurethane adhesive are mixed, the resulting adhesive has a shelf life of 6 hours. However, if stored separately at ambient temperature the shelf life is 24 months. NOTE: Do not store at temperatures below 3°C!

Can I install your products myself?

Yes, we are more than happy for you to install our products on your own. However, in order to ensure the effectiveness of our solutions we require you to successfully complete our training and become a certified installer.

 

Can I rent the required installation tools?

Yes, you can rent or buy all required tools

 

My tools are damaged, can I get spare parts?

Yes, any type of spare part is available.

 

Can you install outside of Germany?

Yes, we install seals and liners all over the world
